Ready to jazz up your health routine? Samsung has just unveiled its latest game-changer: the Galaxy Ring! Yep, you heard it right. This sleek, smart accessory is more than just a pretty piece of jewelry. Designed to seamlessly blend into your lifestyle, it tracks your sleep and activity patterns, and hey, it might even let you pay without reaching for your wallet!

Why opt for a ring, you ask? Well, Samsung knows that sometimes less is more. Dr. Hon Pak, Samsung's VP of Digital Health, envisions a future where we wear multiple devices for a comprehensive health overview. With the first-gen ring measuring everything from heart rate to breathing during sleep, it's clear this is just the beginning.

Coming soon in platinum silver, gold, or ceramic black, the Galaxy Ring is set to make waves later this year. But Samsung isn't stopping there. With plans for glucose monitoring and blood pressure sensing, they're committed to keeping us healthy, stylishly. (SEE)

NATURE...

Every February, Nebraska’s sandhill cranes migrate and make a pit stop along the state’s Platte River before heading farther north. The Florida sandhill crane (G. c. pratensis), numbering 4,000 to 5,000, is a non-migratory year-round breeding resident. They are joined every winter by 25,000 migratory greater sandhill cranes.

TRAVEL...

Airlines, like aspiring musicians chasing a deal, are raising baggage fees to boost revenue amidst rising costs for labor and fuel. This trend mirrors how baggage fees originated in response to the economic challenges of 2008. With carriers increasing fees, US airlines collected over $5.4 billion from baggage fees in the first nine months of 2023. Delta Air Lines remains the sole major carrier without a recent fee hike, but industry patterns suggest this may change soon. So, pack lightly!!

JOURNALING...

I don't know about you, but we love this practice! Sum up February, and get ready for March! Pick one or as many as you like; type, text, or my personal favorite, hand-write your thoughts. Ready? GO!

  1. Reflect on a recent adventure or outing you had. What made it memorable, and how did it impact you?
  2. Think back to a challenge you faced recently. How did you navigate it, and what did you learn from the experience?
  3. Recall a moment of unexpected kindness or generosity you witnessed or experienced in February. How did it make you feel, and what did you take away from it?
  4. Consider your goals for the upcoming month. What steps will you take to prioritize self-care and well-being?
  5. Envision one specific achievement you aspire to reach by the end of March. What motivates you to pursue this goal, and what strategies will you implement to make it happen?

HEALTH & Wellness...
