• Emojipedia Unveils New Icons Coming to Apple Devices This Spring - The Unicode Consortium introduced the moose, ginger root, and pink heart emoji — all considered essential additions. Now, they're back with another update. Emojipedia, a member of the Unicode Consortium, has revealed that over 100 new emoji are set to arrive on Apple devices with the iOS 17.4 update this spring. Among the additions are six entirely new concepts: a fiery phoenix, a lime wedge, a brown mushroom (providing an alternative to the classic toadstool), a broken chain, a smiling face nodding yes, and a smiling face shaking its head no.
